Doña Ana County is my home. I was born and raised here — this community didn’t just shape me, it defined my values.
For 25 years, I served in law enforcement, protecting the very neighborhoods where our families live, work, and raise their children.
I also proudly served in the U.S. Army, earning an honorable discharge and gaining the discipline, integrity, and sense of duty that have guided me throughout my life.
I later served as Undersheriff for the Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office, where I saw firsthand what strong leadership can accomplish—and where it must do better.
I’m running for Sheriff because our community deserves leadership grounded in accountability, unity, and trust. The Sheriff’s Office should stand with the community—not apart from it—supporting those who serve while building stronger relationships with residents, businesses, and partner agencies.
This campaign isn’t about politics. It’s about service, professionalism, and restoring confidence in the Sheriff’s Office.
